Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience all that life has to offer!
ABOUT ME
I love learning about different cultures, which is why I love traveling so much. I love food, bright colors, agriculture, hiking, people-watching, music, karaoke, dancing, and traveling the world! I am ready for just about anything, I love meeting new people, and I am easy to live with and get along with.
PHILOSOPHY
I live to see the world, meet new people, and experience life at its absolute best!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couch-surf and show people around my own cities.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had the time of my life staying with Adel in Cairo. So many couchsurfing hosts showed my friend Sarah and me around while we were in the city--it was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful!
I similarly met up with a couple couch-surfers when I first arrived in Ghana. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Wolfgang especially took me to taste my first Ghanaian food, and helped me secure some specialty food items in Accra when I was living in the North.
I had a truly memorable experience couchsurfing in Leuven, Belgium. My fiancee and I stayed with this really kind and interesting couple who transformed a historic barn into their dream house, participate in the local circus, and eat glorious brunch under their shady trees.
Since these first experiences, I have stayed with many more wonderful hosts, and even hosted travelers myself! I love couchsurfing and all that it stands for. It is a warm, open, and interesting community. There is never a dull moment and I have only met delightful and fascinating people.
Interests
I listed most of these already, but a few others are knitting, ultimate frisbee, canoeing, gardening, camping, baking, issues surrounding the environment and agriculture (especially in the global south), economics, and strategy board games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A saw a tree growing up out of an underground cave in Mexico--it was breathtaking.
Hiking in the Isle of Skye in northwest Scotland was also incredible - I have never seen any place so green and magical.
I stayed in a cabin at the top of a mountain in Lofoten, Norway!
I've been blessed by an elephant!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like hearing other people's life stories...what they have learned and seen in the world. I enjoy jamming (guitar, violin, voice) with other musicians.
