ABOUT ME
We are very down to earth, laid back, with our priorities and responsibilities in line. We live a somewhat active life between working, going to school, and going on mini adventures. When we're not being super active, we enjoy lounging around at home and playing video games. I am very pregnant at the moment, so I will be unable to share a glass of wine with you, but I can most definitely make something delicious for dinner instead, and Chad can share stories over good beer.
***UPDATE PLEASE READ***
As of March 7th, I had a healthy baby girl, and as of right now we won't be able to host anyone unless you are in absolute need of somewhere to stay. We will be accepting guests again here in a few months once the baby starts sleeping through the night, but until then we are unable to. Thank you for your understanding and have safe travels!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have been hosting through CS for about a year now and are thrilled with the opportunity to meet new people from around the world and within the US! We wanted to do this to not only get to know people, and see new faces, but to also learn from them and hopefully they can learn from us too :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have no experiences CSing yet, but Chad has couch-surfed before in Australia.
Interests
I'm very interested in the outdoors, and anything that has to do with fitness. I do enjoy some socializing and drinking occasionally, but as of lately, I enjoy a great book or documentary.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy just about anything with a great hook :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have gone to Thailand and stayed with a tribe up on the mountains of ChangMai and was able to see the happiest children on earth. Elephants were a bonus :)
Teach, Learn, Share
If there's something I want to learn from this, it's to experience different lives and hear their stories of which they came from. I believe no one is every truly ready for anything, thus is why we should get out there, jump in with both feet, and know it'll all work itself out for the good.
What I Can Share with Hosts
To my future guests, I can offer you yummy homemade meals, great conversation, and love from a child who will want to know everything about you and where you come from! :D Plus sleeping arrangements, of course.
