Overview
About Me
I hope I don't sound too pretentious saying this, but I consider myself "un homme du monde", as they say in french. I love people, I love living life to the fullest, eating good food, drinking, and dancing until I can't take it anymore. The goal of my life is to change the world, and in the process, enjoy the hell out of it. Travelling is necessary to change the world in my opinion, because, well, you've got to know it to change it, right? And Couchsurfing is pretty much the best way to meet inspiring people, so whether you'll welcome me at your place (and I will welcome you back at mine) or we have a drink or nine, it'll be amazing to meet you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because when I visit a new country, I believe the best way to proceed is to know the people in that country and their way of living. As a secondary reason, I'm a student, and therefore love looking for cheap ways of travelling. I also believe sharing stuff is very important for a traveller, and would love to welcome travellers at my apartment in France.
Interests
Music (Jazz, techno, electro, rock, classical...) I have eclectic tastes, I guess. Trying to learn how to play an Ocarina at the moment, because Ocarina of Time was my fav game as a child.
Science. Environmental science, chemistry, neurosciences, biotechnology, I really love science and I like being a chemical engineer, although I will probably do a career change at some point.
Volunteering in a foundation that promotes humanism and ecology, which are the most important principles to me, and what I think should be the main concerns of the world right now.
Going to live music bars, concerts, drinking and discovering.
Also, lots and lots of reading. Zweig, Kundera, Kazuo Ishiguro, Edgar Poe etc are some of my favourite authors.
Music, Movies, and Books
For music, look for me on Spotify. I listen to all kinds of music :)
Movie: Forrest Gump, and the Green Mile. Yes, I love Tom Hanks. Also recently I've taken a liking to South Korean movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending 6 months in bonnie Scotland. The country where I feel like I'm finally home, which I've looked for all my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share everything I have :) My stories, my opinions on a lot of subjects, my food, my bed, my stuff, and my passion for mythology, literature, and science. I would love to learn new languages and teach as well.
