Hi all! We are siblings who are taking on Europe by train (doing interrail) this summer/autumn. We are incredibly excited to see amazing places and meet equally amazing people. A little bit about us: we are born and raised Kiwis (not fruits but New Zealanders) with family coming from Austria. We were brought up to be curious about the world and this is why we are looking forward to all the experiences that await us (literally jumping up and down with excitement writing this).

Lukas: I am 22 years old and have just moved to Europe after working as an electric vehicle technician in New Zealand for the past few years. I have just begun the biggest adventure of my life and cannot wait to meet all the people that will join me on the way. I love filming all my adventures and going out every now and again but also relaxing and enjoying life.

Malina: I am 20 years old and have been living in Vienna for the past few months, working in a cafe. I am a carefree person who loves spontaneous adventures, exploring nature and big cities, and going out for a cheeky drink. I love seeing how different people live their lives in different cities. I am still figuring out what I want to do with my life - right now I just want to travel and see where life takes me :). I have also done Couchsurfing before, in Gothenburg. It was the most amazing experience and I cannot wait to do it again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on Couchsurfing to share our experiences and interests with new people - to connect with strangers so that at the end of our visit, we are no longer strangers to each other. Furthermore, we would love to experience places through a personalised lens - it is simply so beautiful to see how other people live their lives, and being a part of that would be an honour.
