ABOUT ME

I grew up in in Portland, Oregon, landed on the East Coast for college and have stayed on ever since, currently work for a small nonprofit that runs international exchange programs and live in a rambling rowhouse in DC with good friends. We regularly have friends or friends of friends stay with us and we're looking forward to hosting couchsurfers. I enjoy cooking and crafting, always go by bike, have lived and traveled around East and West Africa and Europe, and look forward to meeting you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed last year while backpacking in Europe and had a great experience with a lovely host in the Hague, just got back from a roadtrip through the South during which we stayed with great hosts in New Orleans for a few days, otherwise I've always traveled by word of mouth and slept on couches/floors/etc with friends.

A polar plunge in the North Sea on New Year's day while couchsurfing with Naama in the Hague, traveling overland from Dakar to Bamako by every mode of transportation imaginable
