About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being for the summer in Kigali
ABOUT ME
Dear folks,
my name is Malin (it's a swedish name but I'm German). For the past 3 years I'm living in Frankfurt in Germany.
Currently I'm spending most of time working in a lab for doing experiments for my PhD thesis in virology in vaccine development and testing antivirals. In the lab I'm surrounded by people from all over the world (China, Syria, Egypt, Venezuela, Brazil...) and I really enjoy it.
I grew up in a small village about an hour away from Frankfurt with my lovely family who I love to visit during the weekends.
About me- I love doing sports like alpine skiing, scuba diving, water skiing and vaulting (acrobatics on a horse).
In general I love to be spontaneous! Plan is not having a plan and to see what life has in store for me. It doesn't make sense to plan every detail of your life.
PHILOSOPHY
A friend might be waiting behind a strangers face
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
to meet fantastic people and to expand my horizon
I love the idea of couchsurfing to meet people who like to create new memories and who are open mined for the view of the world of other people. Especially because I'm intrested to work for international organizations in the future I like to get in touch with many cultures to learn the different ways of thinking. I'm not an extreme couchsurfer who is doing it every night when I'm abroad but I made such good experience in Switzerland, Israel, Spain and the Netherlands with very impressive people so that I like to continue to be part of this network!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the most amazing experience I ever had was in a cave down in the red sea at about 30m under the surface of the water - cold, dark and the only thing you could hear in the silence was your own breath - goosebumps!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to be enthusiastic about the tiny things in our lifes.
I think we should be thankful about what we have instead of being jealous.
