Plant person that loves deep convos and getting silly with friends.

A New Yorker by birth, I lived in California for my 20s, where I ran a food justice nonprofit (growingtogetherproject.org) planting fruit trees and building gardens. A little more than a year ago I left my comfortable settled life in Cali, and moved to Norway for a masters program in Agroecology. Since then I've caught the travel bug and haved lived in/visited Norway, Austria, Ireland and India. I'm so happy to be back in the states though - it feels good to be home, and still have flexibility to keep travelling as I am working on my thesis and my job remotely for the year.

I enjoy singing with others, sharing food and hearing people's stories. If we host each other I would like to practice yoga or meditation together if you are into it, and would love to walk in the forest in any new place I visit. I like spending as much time in nature as I can. i'm excited to make real connections and share a few moments in this life together.

I've couchsurfed in europe - in brussels many years ago and in ireland last summer, but through friends accounts. I like it as a way to get to know stories and special spots in new places. I also hosted couchsurfers and bikers at my cooperative house when I lived in Florida and more informally when I lived in Berkeley.

I could share about how i launched a nonprofit project (a lot of people ask me about this), or my current job grantwriting to support climate justice work in the US. I would love to learn more about the stories of people and histories of the place i am visiting.
