I’m a microbiologist turned actress who now works to educate herself and others on the human experience through film and travel and self-exploration. I love hearing stories, telling stories, exploring new realms, and have zero qualms of riding solo in a new terrain. I love welcoming people to my often crazy world and appreciate any glimpses into the day-in-day-out of others. I think a walk in someone else’s shoes is essential to growth and true appreciation of one another, our world, and Earth at large.

I’m horrible at planning so if you have a last minute trip and need a place to crash for a bit: shoot me a message. I know I often find myself in the same place!

Because I don’t plan well and prefer going where the river takes me, I’ve started investing in my SUV Marino to turn him into a makeshift Vandwell residence when I’m on the road. When I’m out of the country, I often rely on tents, overpasses, and kind souls like other CSers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always enjoyed traveling but especially with my film hobby, I get the opportunity to travel to new cities semi-often. I think one of the best ways to experience a new city is with the people that have lived there. They know stories and have their own and know all the nooks and crannies. I also have always loved opening my home to other people and think Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet others from different backgrounds and cultures as well as help them fulfill their wanderlust.

Interests

I have so many interests that it's hard for me to choose what I love most! I am studying microbiology but plan on pursuing my acting career after university. Above all, I love adventure and that includes meeting knew people and listening to their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music from Broadway to Dubstep to pop and anything in between. I'm a Disney diehard but appreciate all varieties of films, especially action-packed films.
My favorites include Adele, Florence and the Machine, Tabata, Carrie Underwood, Tangled, RED, and Salt.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories from working on film sets and all th travels I’ve been blessed to have through it. I can also share my love for baking! I also don't mind lending a hand at all. I love to tell stories and love to listen to them as well. I can be as autonomous as need be and I am very low maintenance. I’ve lived a life of plenty but also the opposite in the back of my car. Any safe place to be with kind, genuine human beings is a blessing. :)
