I am a mom of grown kids, I've taught art for years, I'm an artist, I live right near the beach (it's across the street)

PHILOSOPHY

I've had one then lost it several times. I have affinities... there are certain philosophers whose writing interests me. Some are more theologians than philosophers. Howard Thurman, GK Chesterton.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested because my daughter has hosted and couch surfed while she was in Peace Corps and now in New Orleans.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

zero. the only couch surfing I've done is in the homes of friends and relatives

Interests

I like reading; when the weather is cooler I like doing that on my front porch. Re-making clothes that already have a lot of sewing in them, watching Burn Notice on Netflix, breakfast at Bertie's Luncheonette, GK Chesterton, Catholic mass, my dogs, my kids, New Orleans, staying in touch with friends, painting and making things (in general).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing? Over many years, watched my mom become an old old lady. Probably the most amazing thing I've ever done. I recommend it!
