About Me

Hello!
I'm Malorie but you can call me Malo, as my friends do and as I know it is sometimes easier to pronounce for non french speakers ;-)
I like people and hearing from people's life experiences. At the same time, I also like spending some contemplative moments in beautifull landscapes.
I am always open to meet new people, to share new experiences and new learnings, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you are nearby : I can be very busy but if I am available I would love to hangout together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think meeting and sharing with local people is the best way to know about a place, a culture and real dayly life there.
I have met a lot of people from various countries and backgrounds while living in Paris and I am always so exciting to hear about other cultures and about your vision of France and french people too!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like every kind of movies except horror films. However, I usually prefer historical movies, science fiction and fantasy. I also enjoy very much going to theater.
Among my favorite books there is "Le petit prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, and the Bible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say helping a woman performing the miracle of giving birth. Being a supportive actor of the starting of a new life, being the first person to touch and see this new person, it's the amazing privilege of my former job. An extraordinary event that never become boring nor routine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a teacher in a french midwifery school so I can teach you about things I know (like medicine, health, clinical reasearch, health systems and public health, humanitarian projects) or about some french cooking recipes ;-)
But more of all I am interesting in learning. I do love learning, usefull or less usefull things.
I like to share about cultural traditions and perceptions of the world, about past experiences and to hear about your interets, your projects and your dreams.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fun, laugh, sharing a drink, a meal (made by us or not), an activity. Sharing one of the most precious thing in this life : time ; a real sharing of a moment in our life, even if we may never meet again.

Countries I’ve Visited
