About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try to get rid of worldwide oil addiction and nuclear energy!

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy, open-minded and easy going person doing the things I do with passion (ok, ...except for the dishes). I like to go off the beaten track and it's not really in my nature to go with the flow.According to my friends I have a good and/but typical sense of humor and they call me rather willful sometimes (maybe you should check my music, see 'Share' ;-)) Maybe that's a reason why often people judge my age about 7/8 years too low (even though I'm practically bald...).. I really enjoy to be amongst people; just hanging around, enjoing a drink, working together, doing sports or making music. I however, don't mind being alone at all either. That's why I love to travel by bike: it give me a lot of freedom but also makes it very easy to meet people.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's in your own hands (unfortunately that is not the case for all people)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Kinda green to CS right now...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. From December 19 to January 13 I will be in Northern Thailand on my bicycle and I would love to get some experience with CS. Looking forward to meet and talk to you!

Interests

My interests are very diverse: music, cycling, other cultures (especially the music!), sustainable energy, aerodynamics of wind turbines. Apart from watching really good movies (David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino), I also love to watch Bollywood movies. Since I am moving to India in 2012, I am learning Hindi now. Finally I will (hopefully one day..) not depend on reading wacky subtitles anymore :-))I really love my job as aerodynamics engineer in the wind energy industry! I really believe sustainable energy is our future and working in this sector is very satisfactory apart from aerodynamics being an awesome field of science (you might consider it nerdy, I don't give a sh*t...:-P).

In the summer of 2011 I started learning Hindi, which is a beatiful language. I love to learn about other cultures (especially non-western, their music, cooking, mythology).I would love to share my passion for and experience with music, such as production and mixing. Some of my music you can listen on www.myspace.com/malorix (appologies for the crappy, shitty, horrible myspace environment...).
