About Me
Hi!
I'm a 23 year old dutch guy living the dream in Berlin. I moved here to study North-American Studies at the Freie Universität, one of the great universities Berlin has to offer. So far I got quite lucky with my own little apartment, where there is enough space for anyone that seeks a good spot to stay at.
I'm easy going, love to meet new people and their stories and know my way around Berlin.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I tend to be rather bored when there aren't any people around, so I felt like joining after i heard about the concept from a friend. I am planning on traveling quite a lot when I get older, so this is a perfect opportunity for me to meet new people and places to stay at.
After moving to Berlin, there have been many experiences while hosting Couchsurfers and they have always been positive. It's a great international community that I'm happy to be part of.
Interests
I love reading, listening to music, going outside and traveling. I also used to mountainbike, but since I moved to Berlin, there aren't that many hills to drive over :') still, i'm mostly moving through the city on bicycle.
Also, going for a techno party in one of the many clubs or forests that Berlin has to offer is a great way for me to calm down and focus on my uni.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's hard to decide what my favorite music is, considering i listen to a lot of various artists. but in general i prefer Techno and other minimal electronic music. My brother and I even made a playlist for others to follow, so if you're interested, check out https://latenight.blue or https://eleventhirty.pm.
Feel free to share your music with me!
There are too many good movies to list, but I love Tarantino's and Nolan's work. In general, I love to critically watch movies and get lost in them.
Books come and go at my place constantly, so feel free to take yours and leave them for a few of mine!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
when I was 15, I went to Indonesia for 3 weeks to help out at an Orang-Utan Centre and to get to know Indonesian culture in general. It was a fascinating experience and made me want to travel going into the future.
