I'm a 20year-old guy from Germany. Right now I'm on a Gap-Year after finishing high school.I was traveling for six months throug Asia. My trip started in Vietnam, then I traveled through Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar. After having lived in Hong Kong for two weeks I traveled Japan and Korea. Finally I made my way home all the way through Russia and Eastern Europe.
Since I came back home I was working in various jobs in order to get money. But I still feel that wanderlust and I try to get on the road whenever I can. I just love traveling and don´t want to stop.

In October I'll go to university. Right now I'm not sure which subject I'm going to study. But it will probably be International Economics or International Relations.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my friends and family. I do sports a lot and always try to find a new activity which I haven´t done before. I like cycling, jogging, swimming and hiking. I live being in the nature especially when together with friends, making barbeque or a picnic. In summer going to the lake with friends is one of my favourite activities.
I like meeting new people from all over the world. Getting in contact with other cultures and getting a short glimpse into the life of people from different countries is really interesting for me.
I like going out with friends and people I don't know yet in order to get to know them. I also like partying but I can aswell just hangout with peopel and have a calm evening.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to try Couchsurfing because it's a good way to get in contact with people from different countries. I heard a lot of good things about couchsurfing and I'm really interested to have some experiences. I love meeting new people and making friends with them. I'm really interested in different cultures and different ways of living and couchsurfing is the perfect way to get to know people from all over the world and see how they live and what they like.
