ABOUT ME

My name is Maria Luiza, everybody calls me Malu. I was born in Sao Paulo and grow up in Mococa, a small city in the Brazilian countryside, where my family has a coffee farm.
I`m a nature enthusiast; my passion for the ocean blossomed from swimming and surfing into formal studies on their preservation. After graduating as oceanographer I get involved with ecotourism, working with environmental awareness, using snorkeling trips to educate tourists. The fast development of the Brazilian coastline made me look back to home and I decided to study Natural Management as specialization. On this course I learn a lot about the food industry and the damaged we are doing on the land because of that. All this make me understand bather the transition that my father was doing at the family farm. Nearly 15 years ago, He decided to change from traditional production to comprehensive natural production.

at the moment I'm going to a big trip to learn more about organic agriculture. So I wat to CS to meet people and get to know beter the comunities. In the future I want to host sufers at my home!!!
