Overview
About Me
I'm a friendly and talkative person. Though I'm quite sarcastic and ironic, at the same time I'm a very considerate and polite girl, so I always make sure that I won't offend people by my jokes :)
I have two big passions in my life: photography and traveling, and I like to combine them. I like to walk through the city with my camera and search for little cozy streets and nice details that make the atmosphere of this place so unique.
I also adore beautiful nature and especially mountains, this is the most breathtaking and inspiring thing for me. Last November I went hiking to the Caucasian mountains for the first time in my life and so far it's one of my favorite stories on the list "The silly things I've done in my life". Also that's how I learnt that I should bring a winter (not summer!) tent when I go hiking in mountains because surprisingly mountains are covered with snow in November.
I always post my travel pictures on my instagram, so check it if you're curious to get to know a bit more about my life:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me traveling is not only about visiting new places, but also about meeting new people. Couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to meet the locals and learn from them something interesting about their country.
I noticed that all the best moments of my trips that I remember - are the moments I shared with the wonderful people I've met while traveling. And I'm pretty sure that when I get old and I sit in a rocking chair with my grandchildren around me, I'll tell them stories about people I've met, not about attractions I've seen. Because, you know, they can google the pictures of these attractions instead of listening to their crazy grandma describing them The Eiffel Tower :D

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music:
Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Blue October, The Killers, Florence And The Machine, Coldplay, Muse and the list goes on.
My favorite movies:
Into the Forest of Fireflies' Light, V for Vendetta, The girl with the dragon tattoo, The Shawshank redemption, The prestige, Leon, Fight Club, Into the wild, 1+1, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Grand Budapest Hotel and the list goes on.
My favorite books:
The Brothers Karamazov, To Kill a Mockingbird, All Quiet on the Western Front, 1984, Brave new world, One flew over the cuckoo's nest, The Master and Margarita, Lolita, The Twelve Chairs, Tess of the D'Urbervilles and the list goes on.
Apart from my attempts to be smart and read books/watch movies that are supposed to make me a better person, I also like "Scrubs", "Friends", "How I Met Your Mother" and "Futurama". Not sure if they make me smarter, but they make me laugh for sure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I jumped from a railway bridge ("ropejumping"), which height is 26 meters. It was a really wonderful feeling. When you're standing on the railings and looking down at the water, it seems that you can't force yourself to jump. But don't be so unadventurous! :D In the moment when you're flying upside down, the time freezes and you can hear your heartbeat. And then you can scream: "YAHOO!" :)
And by the way I did it three times in the last 4 years and it shows clearly that I don't get smarter with ages.
