Hello, I'm Malwina.
I come from Poland and travel to Melbourne for a year to study "The Project Management" but also „The Life Abroad" (actually main reason to come to Australia for me is to learn how to surf ;).
I'm a film enthusiast so much so that it led me to become a film editor. I spend my days working on film sets or in editing rooms making features, documentaries, commercials and all other content interesting formats like my friends independent projects, yes those which do not bring money whatsoever… oh but the satisfaction ;)
I'm a vegetarian and an animal lover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to ease in into my new environment and many of my friends tell me that couchsurfing is the best way to do it, because not only you get a place to stay and feel safe but also you find someone who wants to help you to get to know the city, the culture, the people.

Although pointing only one favorite music, film or book would be impossible for me few honorable mentions come to mind:
The Hours Soundtrack by Philip Glass is the best remedy for every moody day
Aliens by James Cameron is ALWAYS my go to movie
As to books, pretty much everything that John Irving has ever written (I'm sure even his grocery list must be a real page turner ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing is happening right now - moving to another country, I'm very excited!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn about filmmaking, editing, screenwriting, storytelling. I'm also a teacher myself. I love to meet new people, go out in a world and see places that I would have never been able to see sitting in my editing room (and then of course make a documentary about them...sitting in my editing room).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you a good laugh, a good discussion and a good piece of pie (bought, can't cook ;/)
