taking a well deserved break from my research to explore Japan and experience a culture and food I've been so taken by for the first time.

at home I spend all of my time at universities, teaching International Relations or writing and researching on Aboriginal politics and indigenous treaties worldwide. if these topics are of interest let me know I absolutely love learning about politics and activism or justice movements around the world! I like studying how the world works and peoples and countries interact.

I live in Melbourne, which after all my travels I feel so damn lucky for, it really has everything for anyone and is so inclusive and vibrant.

I'm into cycling, and skiiing and dancing when my knees are not shattered.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

couched in Europe on my first overseas trip and loved the experiences I had, you can learn so much from the generosity and local knowledge of people all over. I've hosted some unofficial couchers in my house in Melbourne but I've not lived in a place big enough to open our profile unfortunately. but I got my mum into hosting in her house in my hometown (Geelong), she has met a bunch of great characters and loves it too!
