About Me
Hi!
My name is Tünde, I am 25 years old. I live in Budapest. I work in a museum, it is really fantastic! I use to say I work as a princess, because the museum is located in a beautiful castle, and we have some museum education classes, where I have to be the princess.
I have to proofread and translate things, I work with some publishers as well. I love literature, so I read a lot in my spare time as well.
I love to ride my bike, to cook and to travel a lot, that's why I am here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to get to know new people of course, I love to cook traditional dishes to them, learn about other countries, cultures.
I love to host others as well, show some funny places in Budapest.
Interests
I love literature, theater, old horror movies, science ficiton a lot. I love to find new and hidden places in Budapest, preparing food at home. I love sports: orienteering and running (slowly, but still, running!).

Music, Movies, and Books
Sience fiction: Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who - I have some Daleks and Tardises at random points in my flat. Asimov, Lem, Lovecraft, etc. Old horror movies are the best!
Movies&series: like The Fountain, Sátántangó (it is an 7 hour long Hungarian movie), Utopia (it was fantastic a drama-thriller serie on Channel4!), Bron/Broen, HIMYM, Black Books...
Books are the hardest question: I really love books, I have HUNDREDS of them, so I always find myself in a big trouble when it's about moving...
Music: 70's, 80's rock, jazz, hiphop, lots of different things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had some bad periods in my life, but I am still here, seeking for new experiences, looking for interesting places and people, so I guess the best is yet to come.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook, so I can teach you how to prepare Hungarian food. I know a lot about my museum's history, so if you are interested, I can show it to you. (It is the Museum and Library of Hungarian Agriculture in Vajdahunyad Castle in Budapest, please, have a look at it on the internet, worths it!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I recently moved in to my boyfriend's flat, so now we share a really small place. That is why I can't welcome now any guests, but I am up to any fun things, sightseeing, beer and showing you the beautiful museum :)
