About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making the most of myself and my brief, fantastic life!
ABOUT ME
I am a lover of literature, mountains, streams and people, Studying and now working as a physician in Colorado. Before Denver, I went to med school in LA, worked at a beautiful rustic mountain lodge in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, college at Dartmouth and lived in Mexico, Nepal and Costa Rica.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is to valuable to waste, so I always have grand plans. But life defies reason and the best of intentions, and so I strive to act on inspiration, accepting that the unexpected is often what is best all around.
For me it is Memory that gives life purpose. of loved ones, friends, moments of grand adventure and great epiphany. Of strife and loss and also love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meeting and supporting new people is, for me, part of living a rich and exuberant life. I'm all about random adventures to new places and trying things that scare me just a little. I run, swim, sing, dance and love playing soccer, football and frisbee. I like to cook and dabble in thai, Mexican, Italian and Indian. Oh and I laugh with infectious gusto.
I learn quickly but start a klutz, and I love pushing myself to do anything I set my mind to, especially sports/outdoors, trade skills, something hands on. I don't think I'll every fully understand how other people see the world, but its fun and always worth it to try with the people who matter.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've bummed around spain, belize, nepal, australia, italy, greece, costa rica, thailand, bali and a couple other places, occasionally with couch surfing, sometimes with jobs or school, but mostly with a few good friends, even less precious currency and a sense of adventure.
