ABOUT ME

I am a funloving yet serious Grexican (Greek Mexican American) born and raised in the US. I am living in Greece for an indefinite period of time teaching and learning on a constant basis. I am a lover of the arts, dancing (TANGO/Swing) and anything cultural. I am a lover of languages, and etymology-I guess you could call me an amateur anthropologist-I am a lover of the world-to learn and experience a new and different cultures keeps me going.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm just getting started, but so far so great! I've really enjoyed meeting people from all over and think it's a great way to understand how truly different we are from each other, and be able to embrace that difference

Intereses

Alternative, foreign, independant film
Dance-Swing, Argentine TANGO, Latin, Flamenco, Greek folk dancing, GYPSY music and dance, and in general anything that makes me move.

I have helped to build a school, passed out food and aid to orphans of La Ceiba, Honduras, seen the smiles and enthusiasm of their hearts-this is priceless-

I teach languages and know Greek fairly well-so am open to all kinds of language exchanges-would love to learn more Italian, Russian and Arabic, among others-
I am am amateur cook-love to try new recipes, experiment with different ingredients, methods, tricks-and to learn from others-could we trade culinary secrets?
I love the outdoors-but haven't really explored this and would like to-
Water sports-again, love it, but haven't too much experience in it so I'd be more than willing to learn more about this.
I'd like to learn to lead Tango/Swing
