I am Manas, 37 from, Haldwani Uttrakhand, India. Nomad traveller by nature and travelled 15+ states like jammu-kashmir, Himachal, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, UP, Goa, Maharastra, Delhi, Sikkim, West Bangal, Haryana and Nepal.

Currently I am exploring Uttrakhand with a tent and enjoying the beauty of nature, exploring off-beaten paths and less known places.

Very soon I am planning to cover rest of the other indian states and bhutan. I wanna explore Nagaland; Meghalaya soon and wanna meet up with other travelers for sharing our traveling experience and stories. I love sharing my traveling lesson with other passionate travelers for making their traveling more interesting, fascinating and cost effective because most traveler like to travel at less budget or wanna save some money.

I have heard lots of stories about couchsurfing concept but I was not aware of it. First I didn't believe that couchsuring exist. I was only dreaming about it. Ya, I wanted to learn about it because CS can help me to explore the India/world. I have heard "traveling teaches you so many important lesson of life and you meet different people".

Started couch surfing as a host in Jan2020 and I did hours of hours sharing with my 1st guest, chetan, who came from madhya pradesh. And felt preety amazing then I hosted 2nd guest, Ganesh ji from udupi, karnataka and we shared loads of experiences and I learned a lot from it because whatsoever they shared with me, it was from bottom of their hearts and I loved this experience.

Now I have a real friend at their place or city. When I visited Ganesh ji home udupi so I had wonderful feeling. It was like 2nd home to me. I have started journey of a couch surfer. And I am so excited about it because it's the new chapter of another book of life and I love having different different experiences. At the last day of my life I don't wanna go with any regret of not travelling enough or I didn't enjoyed life at its fullest.

I started my career as a unpaid sales person in a adventure equipment manufacturer at delhi for learning and profit sharing if I get deal.

Later I joined travel company with 5k salary, and that time I fully enjoyed life at 5k. Then I joined group of hotel, later I was making people travel as a tour organizer and travel consultant.

I cook too because I love to add fusion in indian or chinise dishes. When you taste 100 different-different food items at different-different places so you get some taste.

Life is an experiment, the more you do, the more you learn. And the more you go, more you see.

Why I am on couchsurfing?

1st - I wanna live life of a traveler with learning, sharing-caring experiences.

2nd - I wanna experience whole india so that I know India better and I could help others to travel India with best of my knowledge.

3rd - I wanna feel other person life experience.

4th - I had experience solo night camping in wilderness, far and absolutely alone in so many places and I had really awesome experience which I wanna share 😀

5th - I wanna meet different kind of people because we all are different, all has different attitude, prospective about life. Everyone has experienced something, what I never have.

6th - I want to travel the world, learn; teach, share, different culture, food, experience with all loving CS people. I wanna travel more and more, and I love to explore the unexplored places.

7th. I wanna cut down the cost of travel because traveling cost too much if I am not earning well.

Couchsurfing gives us opportunity to travel without worrying, meeting and sharing with same minded people. We feel safe when we know someone in unknown places. Now me too is a member of international community.
With CS I wanna travel as much as I can explore.

India has very different and unique culture, cuisine, tourist attractions, people and traditions. Self I had experienced the vibrant culture of every corner of India and Nepal. I can't tell in words the experiences I had through traveling. India's every part has something unique, I get lost in the beauty of every place I have been ie white snow clad mountain of kashmir, unexplained beauty of Himachal and Rohtang pass, evening walk at kanyakumari, ferry ride at Rameshvaram, 3.5kms cable car ride at Manokamna temple nepal and hundreds of unforgettable experience s.

I like natural beauty, passionate people, crazy and different people because we all are unique. God has made single masterpiece in our shape.

Because I have been to so many hidden Jem's/unexplored places in Nainital/Uttrakhand/India so you please feel free to ask any details about the places I have traveled. I feel great to serve you.

I m not rich as per money concern but I am filthy rich if u count experiences because I had so many different experience which few experience in life.

I am ready to follow the house rules or the host rules because I don't wanna disturb anyone's privacy. I am very flexible, I do adjust as per your concern.

Food is not problem for me because I love street food. Please be with me if like to explore local and traditional dishes.

Work exchange
I am ok for the volunteering projects or work exchange opportunities while I travel, please don't hesitate to ask if you have something. I have vast experience in customer care and service industry, travel industry, hotel industry and sales profession. I love to share the trade secret and tricks I have experienced.

'Always looking for hosts somewhere, anywhere, everywhere at anytime or every time because if same minded people sit together, they enjoy and have good time.

Request:
please allow me 1-2 day flexibility if couldn't reach at your place on given date. I ll inform you in advance. Because I have heard 'real traveler has no fixed plan'.

Things to know
I am open for share any of my skills with you ie cooking, sales, teaching, philosophy or anything what I have learned or self experienced. I have heard 'self experience is the greatest knowledge'.

I do different different experiment with life, food and people. I get great fun because then you get totally different prospective.

I mostly travel a lot so please share your dates in advance otherwise I won't be able to serve you 😔 but we will meet next time

In case of problem at home I may ask you to stay at my small library. It's small but you will have privacy.

I may ask you to help in cooking because I don't wanna disturb mother for my shake of interest.

We may have to eat out at our own expense or if I m broke so I may ask you to pay for food or other outing expenses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled 15+ states like jammu-kashmir, himachal, uttrakhand, rajasthan, kerala, tamilnadu, karnataka, uttar pradesh, goa, delhi, sikkim, west bangal and nepal.
I walked 40+kms when we trek to Gomukh, Gangotri. It was not at all easy for me.
I met a man who was exploring India with a basic Atlas cycle with very little money in his pocket. I salut to this man.
Jan 2021, I have done 20+ days long central and south india tour with a tent and sleeping bag
I left my work and only read books for 3-4yrs.
I wrote my daily and life experiences for 2-3yrs.
I have done sales job in delhi and bangalore by bus and walk
Ist time I did camping at benaulim beach goa for 2nights/3days.
