ABOUT ME

Well I am an engineer and hence science and math is my first love but in reality I am a jolly traveler at heart. I like to go to places and wherever I go I meet people and easily make friends and mingle with them. I enjoy sharing experiences and learning people's ways of life.
I love partying as much as science, but have never made the mistake of mixing the two..
I like being in nature. Living in Metz, I had a lot of opportunity to do so. I enjoy a good run (if possible in midst of the nature - forests are my favorite) and when coupled with a good workout, I go crazy on food without feeling guilty. I look at sports as entertainment activities and am very passionate about karate and badminton. I like to occasionally play cricket and golf (still learning the latter though!!).
A self taught chef, I can cook variety of vegetarian cuisines and according to my guests am reasonably good at that.
I simply enjoy dancing tango. I started off tango on reluctant pursuance by a friend but fell in love with it. I am still learning and a long way from mastering it and am always looking out for tango partners.
My spectrum of musical preference is quite broad. I like to listen to lounge and chill, trance, acoustic, alternative rock, Indian old Bollywood and classical music. My favorite artist would be Jason Mraz and Kishore Kumar. I enjoying going to the movies and equally enjoy theater. History and geography fascinate me a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

I heard someone once say that life is an illusion, and we are spectators meant to experience every aspect, good or bad, of it.. I say, when it comes to bad, I would always strive to take the bad and somehow turn it into good rather than just living with it..

I have always been traveling and living with friends at hostels or hotels so unfortunately never had the opportunity to couch surf but I am very intrigued by the idea and am keen to explore the possibilities :)

I like to watch comedy, action and sci-fi. In reading I prefer scientific reading, history (sometimes I spend hours online searching and reading any and everything I can find on the civilizations of the earth), thrillers, fiction and am just now discovering art.
