I'm a recent grad living in New York.

I like sour beers, live music, indie movies and good fiction. I've travelled a lot, and am equally fond of jam-packed cities and far-flung middle-of-nowheres. What I really enjoy is getting to know a place and the things it has to offer, whether it's tending to fowl on a chicken farm or spending the day sprawled on the beach or dancing through the evening at local pubs.

Most of my current traveling involves weekend getaways and the occasional roadtrip, but I'm looking forward to see that evolve into long-term, slow travel where I get to stay in different places for few months at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do a lot of solo traveling, and prefer conversations to sanitized hotel rooms.

Interests

I spend a lot of my spare time reading, writing, and hanging out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of Indie music - Belle and Sebastian, The Magnetic Fields, The Decemberists, but will also listen to anything danceable.

I also read a lot. Mostly fiction, and pretty much anything with a gripping narrative voice.
