About Me

Hey there! I'm a stand-up comedian who moonlights as a multilingual, culture-loving, joke-cracking, travel junkie. I’ve been known for following my passions, be it warming the stage with my jokes despite my huge fear of public speaking, or just pursuing my love for languages which gave me more followers on Duolingo than on Instagram (#Linguasexual—look it up).

Therapy-positive and always open to deep conversations, I thrive in one-on-one exchanges where we can really get into the nitty-gritty of life, the universe, and everything in between.

I’m here because Couchsurfing is more than just a free bed—it’s about sharing experiences, stories, and maybe even a joke or two that might walk the fine line of political correctness. Don’t worry, I’m a brown guy—I can't be racist, only a victim of it! 😅 But seriously, all humor is welcome, and I’m all about having a laugh in good spirit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing for me is like being on stage—every experience is unique and delightful, full of surprises. I like to build a connection with my host/guest before meeting, so we’re both comfortable and ready for whatever adventure awaits.

If you’re someone who prefers exploring the hidden gems of a city with cultural significance rather than just ticking off tourist spots, we’ll get along just fine. Let’s dive deep into the culture, history, and local quirks that make each place special.

Interests

I’m all about the jokes—telling them, hearing them, and living them. I love humor in all its forms, from the silly to the thought-provoking. My interests are broad and include everything from religion to science, culture to politics—basically, all the good stuff that makes for explosive comedy. If you have jokes about my origins, bring them on—I’m here for it all.

I believe in the motto "There is no bad joke, just bad intentions"

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in movies leans towards the offbeat and the mind-bending. I’m a huge fan of time travel films (except for Back to the Future—don’t ask). My favourite movies include Mr. Nobody, Predestination and Prisoner of Azkaban (Nostalgia from childhood meets Timetravel)

Anything by Quentin Tarantino or Seth MacFarlane is an instant favorite.

Books are my other love; I’m into Dan Brown’s meticulously researched thrillers, Jeffrey Archer’s immersive storytelling, and Roald Dahl’s twisted plots. Recently, I’ve been diving into Indian mythology with Amish’s Immortals of Meluha—an absolute page-turner.

When it comes to TV, I’m a sucker for shows that challenge the norm—think Game of Thrones, The Office, Arrested Developement, and Modern Family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once played the lead role in a German theater play in Canada after only six months of learning the language. Yeah, I’m that kind of crazy.

Also, I did a 10-day, ultra-low-budget solo backpacking trip across Europe on just 300 Euros, hitting up Nice, Monaco, Milan, Amsterdam, Krakow, Berlin, and Paris.

That journey helped me shed my introvert shell and embrace the wonderful chaos of meeting strangers and making friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to learn some Hindi, French, English, or even some jokes? I’ve got you covered. Plus, I can share some computer tricks (because, you know, I’m Indian 😜) and tell you what NOT to do when there’s a panther at your front door.

Learn : I’m an open book—teach me something new, and I’m all ears. Whether it’s your personal experiences, a new language, or even just a new joke, I’m here for it.

Share : Need recommendations? I can tell you the best poutine place in Toronto, the most awesome kebab joint in Berlin, or the coolest clubs in Toulouse.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in the vibrant center of Hamburg and would love to show you around on weekends—whether by tram, bus, or better yet, on foot. I promise our time together will be full of laughs, deep conversations, and maybe even a spontaneous stand-up set if the mood strikes.
