About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to embrace love, reject fear and live a sustainable life.

ABOUT ME

After living in Asia for 4 years, I traveled from Beijing to the southern tip of India overland, through Tibet, Nepal, and all over India. I then moved to Egypt for 4+ months before arriving in South Africa. I am now living in Cape Town and hope to live here for a while.

I came to HK to study, then worked on on various Asia-related documentary projects and started a fashion label, then went on to join a PR/Marketing agency representing charity organizations and managing brand relations.

Getting to HK: In September 2009 took a journey overland through SE Asia from Singapore to Hong Kong. In all, I was on the road for 6 months, and my trek included stints in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.

About me.... I grew up San Antonio, Texas and attended university in Dallas then lived for a stint near Valencia, Spain, studying language and peace studies before returning back home to the States. My first CS experience was while backpacking Europe. I have now surfed couches across North America, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. I have had only good, great and life changing experiences through CS. Surf on...

I enjoy the arts, music, culture, cuisine, traveling and advocating for sustainable lifestyles.

PHILOSOPHY

Love.
Find balance in the flow.
Everything happens for a reason, everything works out in the end.
Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you deal with it.

~Go with the flow~

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been couch surffing long before I knew of this site. But sicne I joined CS, I use it to meet amazing people and stay with kindred spirits. I have had all positive experiences through couch surfing, and encourage all the cool people I know to join the community. As part of the San Antonio group, I have met some great people who are now my friends in the south Texas region. Couch Surfing has changed my life, it is an amazing global community.
