About Me

Maybe I became a journalist only because I am a really curious person and I love traveling. I took my first flight when I was 19 years old. That was a turning point of my life. From that time, I did not stop moving around, for studying or working. Every great person I find on the way makes me want to continue. On the other hand, I love the place where I grew up and I always go back to the Lake whenever I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is just a great concept that belongs to our internet generation. It is a concept based on hospitality and the proof that kind people are all people, no matter the language nor what you eat. It makes life easier for travelers. I believe it is always a great sensation to find a lost backpapers on your hometown, or a hitchhiker in the late afternoon that doesn't know where to spend the night, and invite that person at home. It is priceless to create a warm atmosphere with a person you don't know and the only thing you might have in common is that both are human beings and we are meant to move around this planet.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is no chart for this kind of thing, but I can tell you that in the last month I loved Mulatu Astatke; in the last years I loved Fela Kuti; last party I would have loved to listen to a Nicolas Jaar remix; The last movie I watched (and I'm ashamed to haven't watch it before) is Nuovo Cinema Paradiso; The last book I touched this week is written by Kapuscinski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Missing a flight.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, guys, food! Some wine too of course. Don't worry that I can cook something with what we have in the fridge. Or I'll go to the grocery at the corner.
