ABOUT ME

I'm currently calling San Diego, CA home. I'd like to make this year the year I take on as many of the opportunities to travel and meet like-minded people as I can. I want to see everything!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to get the most out of every possible experience. I want to laugh at awkward situations. I want to meet someone goofier than me. I want to dance with life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met amazing people through hosting couchsurfers and traveling - some of them are still very good friends of mine. Now I plan on continuing the couchsurfing karma chain.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a ton of great people in San Francisco and in Puerto Rico. I've stayed with people all over Eastern Europe and the US Virgin Islands. A few years ago my roommate from San Francisco and I couchsurfed in Puerto Rico and fell in love with the island and all of the people we met (through CS and others). After our trip, we flew back home, packed up our stuff, and moved there 2 months later.

Some of my personal favorites: modest mouse, speck mountain, radiohead, pinback, cocorosie, bat for lashes, the shins, sufjan stevens, the decemberists, the pixies, and anything that makes me groove.

Spontaneously moving to Puerto Rico with nothing but a couple bags of clothes would be pretty high up on my list.

The only way to grow in life is to put yourself in uncomfortable situations. You aren't always going to be happy with where you are in the moment but if you remember to appreciate those moments as learning opportunities, then none of them will be wasted.

I can cook up a mean vegan dish if you'd like! I'm also usually up for a friendly philosophical debate.
