Quick in-a-nutshell-update: Have lived in Germany for 7 years now after coming over for one year on the working holiday visa (the below description is from then). Got a 'real' job and stayed. Changed jobs to change my lifestyle again after an intense 4 years in the corporate world, adopted my beautiful rescue dog Zaza. Zaza and I were recently joined in our 'Single ladies apartment' by my Canadian boyfriend and his rescue dog. So now there's less room for surfers but more entertainment!

Also I used to be verified, but couchsurfing changed and I haven't caught up. Getting there!

ABOUT ME

I am on an adventure, a journey to find out what I want to do with my life. I've been on that journey for sometime, and expect to continue on it into the forseable future. Experiencing the world, meeting new people and learning about their life helps me to shape the life I want for myself.

I need to put this out there because I have had a few requests about pub crawls drinking etc. I don't drink. That doesn't mean you can't, but it does mean that if you really want to do a proper pub crawl you'll want to do it with someone else! That's not to say I don't go out, I'm all for long nights dancing! But experiencing the local beer in bulk is something to approach another couch surfer about ;)

My first couchsurfing host has turned out to be one of my dearest friends. I've met lots of great people through other couchsurfing events.

I also LOVE to dance, 2016 was my year of dancing and I learnt Zouk, Kizomba, Bachata, Lindy Hop, Tango and some Salsa. SO much fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Monte Verde in Costa Rica. The most exhilirating feeling, flying through the tops of trees and over valleys on giant flying foxes. Looking down to the fields below and seeing horses that are so far down they appear the size of ants.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can: Bake, knit, crochet, embroider, write, do make-up (and hair to an extent), help you choose the right outfit, help you with English, help you with German (basics). There are probably a great many other things. I will add them as they occur to me.
