ABOUT ME

I love life and am very open to learning. I like to investigate things I'm already interested in and explore new things that I'm introduced to by the people I meet along the way.

I work as a healer and coach teaching women and youth how to understand and feel safe in their bodies.

I worked as a seasonal Park Ranger for the National Park Service for 8 years so have lived in many places around the USA.
I've also lived in Paris, France. I would love to live abroad again and am also looking forward to living in new places in the U.S.
I love meeting new people, learning from them, and flowing with them. Flowing could be practicing yoga or a flow art (a.k.a. hooping, etc.), dancing, or consciously interacting with each other.

PHILOSOPHY

Love is the answer. I am a firm believer in the power of peace.
I also think that communication is so important. Talk and listen: to yourself, to your loved ones, to everyone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I made a donation because I think it's a great project. I have surfed people's couches, had people over for dinner, and had conversations advising people about travel to Alaska.

I look forward to getting more involved.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most kinds of music from bluegrass to opera. I especially like jam, electronic, rock, funk, reggae, and all things danceable.

The Princess Bride, Boondock Saints, The Big Lebowski, Donnie Darko, Inception, The Notebook, James Bond movies, Star Wars, I like good movies of most genres.

I love to read! Luckily, I get to read a lot for work. I'm currently interested in reading books about spirituality, social movements, social and political history, and prehistoric rock art.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing a group of 6th graders from the LA metro area who were previously afraid of being outside in the dark at night overcome their fears and gain self confidence after completing a night hike at outdoor science school.
Children are inspiring!
