About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life is short. Now go crazy, to love and waste it.

ABOUT ME

Quitted my job as a financial journalist in Hong Kong and landed in Berlin in August 2011 to see more of the world. During the 15 months spent in Europe, I visited over 30 cities in 14 countries. The trip changed my vision of life that I decided to leave my comfort zone in Asia and pursue a tourism-related career in Germany. Now I work as a full-time intern in Düsseldorf, while am seeking to seize any chance to travel on weekends and whenever I feel like travelling. So, watch out people ;D

PHILOSOPHY

We don't stop playing when we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf most of the time because I live in the company flat, where I may need approval to host people outside the company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far the experiences were good that I would recommend my friends to try couchsurfing.

Music: All sort of music - Rock, Jazz, Techno, Dubstep, Cantopop, Rap, Classic...
Books: mostly non-fiction like German self-learning guide, but my all-time-favourite would be The Alchemist and The Little Prince

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've seen in my Europe trip is the aurora in Tromso, and in Reykjavik. It appeared in the clear sky just above our hostel, that was simply breathe-taking. Another awesome moment was listening to Damien Rice's live FOR FREE at the bar in Michelberger Hotel in Berlin, he was right in front of me!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Cantonese, the mother tongue of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. At this moment I want to learn German and Portuguese. What I can share is my experience during the past year as a working holiday maker in Berlin and anything you are interested about Hong Kong my hometown.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Mongolia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russian Federation, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
