About Me

I am a girl who likes to read, dance, listen to live music, draw, drink beer, and spend lots of time outdoors! I am an adventurer!

My place is LGBTQIA friendly. Racism, homophobia and any other sort of severe closed-mindedness makes me uncomfortable so search elsewhere if you are one of those odd types. I would hope for any of my guests and hosts to have the same outlook :)

I am a hairstylist at a beautiful salon called Prep Hair here in Winnipeg, and I love my work and what I do :D Spending time with my friends all day while also being able to be creative is a perfect fit for me.

I enjoy thoughtful conversations, I could talk with someone for hours about their passions and life lessons. A lot of my happiness comes from experiences like this. I am eager to learn about others perspectives. I enjoy looking at art a lot and listening to live music is how I usually spend my days off. I feel lucky that Winnipeg has so many great local artists and musicians.

"Never Not Broken" is one of my favourite quotes. The moments where you find yourself lost or dealing with hardship are the most pivotal moments in making you into a better person. Seeing being "lost" and having "hardship" in a positive light is something I continuously want to try to better at doing. Looking at any problem with this quote in mind has made many things easier for me to overcome :)

My brother is my best friend and we have chosen to do a Montreal trip together (January 29th-February 6th) which I am shaking with excitement for (he bought my plane ticket for me for christmas awwww)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have not couch surfed a ton yet. Hosting and surfing is something I'd like to get more experience with.
