About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and know America and its people.
ABOUT ME
Well, last summer we took off from our home in Tennessee and roadtripped across America. However, once we got to southern Oregon after two months of traveling, we couldn't seem to leave. So, we've been there since August working and enjoying all the area has to offer. Now we're ready to head back home, continue our on-the-road adventures, and meet more CouchSurfers!
Mitch: We are followers of Christ, and he is a lover/hoarder of music. He's a musician wannabe, as he says, with his instrument of choice being the Irish tin whistle, with bass following that. He is quite the dabbler of instruments, so if you have one, he's probably messed around on it a little. He loves reading fiction, drinking beer and scotch, smoking his pipe, and generally engaging in good conversation. I'd call him half introvert and half extrovert, a very intriguing combination, I find. Oh, and he has Tourettes Syndrome, but don't worry...the worst he will do is insult "your mother."
Michelle: I've always been the outdoorsy type, but I'm also quite a homebody. I dabble in painting and writing and general creative-ness, which can also manifest itself in cooking new recipes or fostering a feng-shui environment. I'm an introvert, so it takes me a while to warm up to people, but once that happens, I love delving into thoughtful conversation. I, like Mitch, am always reading something too, but unlike him, I'm a bit of a movie buff on the side.
PHILOSOPHY
Ask yourself, "What is the next right thing to do?" and do it (which we've completely perfected, hah).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing so far. Once we have a home again, we'd love to be hosts.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've only couchsurfed a couple times, but we enjoy the experience of meeting new people. It is wonderful that so many people are willing to open their homes to strangers, and I hope we get to pass on the love sometime too!
