Resumen
Sobre mí
ABOUT ME
I read centuries old French literature by day, and sell lattes and donuts by night.
PHILOSOPHY
My mother has something she likes to share about me: "I wasn't in labor for very long. That was the last time Andrea hurried for anything."
I like to take it easy.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had so many great experiences with couch-surfers while I was traveling Europe in 2009. Regrettably, my busy schedule at home and living situations don't often allow me to offer more than a night out on the town.
Intereses
I love drawing and other creative endeavors; I love learning; I love learning about the past and other distant and foreign things; staring at photos of interesting architecture, furniture, and interiors eats up my evenings all too often; cheese, beer, gin; and of course cute animals.

Música, películas y libros
I love cinema. I watched nothing but French New Wave films for years: Godard, Truffaut, Rohmer, and would take a break with a Herzog film. I like watching classic Hollywood cinema with my dad, Japanese horror films alone, and documentaries with my boyfriend.
I like yé-yé pop and exotica, a couple handfuls of indie bands and anything that came out of Manchester in the 80s.
I've been pretty caught up in my school reading, but have recently enjoyed some leisurely Haruki Murakami, Charlotte Brontë, and D.H. Lawrence.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I tutor a 5 year old girl in French and would love to work more with children in similar ways. I have some gardening experience. I like to draw portraits. I would love to participate in more language practicing exchanges.
