About Me

Summer ‘19 update:
I’m traveling cross country this summer from my home in NC to Cali in an ambulance converted to RV with my friend Jared. We’d love to make you part of our journey! While we have our own sleeping quarters in the ambulance, we’d appreciate help with a safe place to park, a place to plug in to charge our batteries, a place to shower, and awesome camaraderie/adventures!

For those curious, follow our journey at www.adventureambulance.com!

————————————————————————————

I'm completely filled with wanderlust.

I work so I have the means to travel. I'm currently in promotional marketing, but pursuing my masters in nanoscience. I have a small dog, but she stays with my family when I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is too short to let a little thing like the insane cost of lodging to stop me from traveling the world.

Interests

I love learning (esp science and history). Most of my travels are centered around seeing a new animal, seeing something historic, or experiencing a new culture. I'm a bit of a dabbler, so there's a good chance our interests will overlap in some way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love most movies, tend towards academic books (E.O. Wilson is my fav writer), and lover of most music - especially live. Lately I've been into folk, alt, reggae, and EDM.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky diving, love roller coasters, fed a kangaroo, pet a wild manatee, snorkeled with hundreds of sharks and sting rays in the wild, swam with a wild sea turtle. I've done many other inspiring things with my life as well in the way of volunteer work - just ask me about them and I will gladly share my stories!

Teach, Learn, Share

As I said, I'm a dabbler. So if there's something neat you want to learn, I'm varied in my skills. Would also be ecstatic if you have the means and time to join me on some of my adventures in your fine city!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a courteous guest, and a great cook! I had tons of food allergies a few years ago so I'm also experienced at tailoring meals to certain diets.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Ecuador
