Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So many of my friends and co-workers have highly recommended couchsurfing over the years, so now I'm jumping on the bandwagon! I definitely prefer having more of an "as a local' experience when traveling, and I enjoy getting to know new people wherever I go. Couchsurfing seems like a perfect combination of the two!

Pretty much everything... I'll work on a better defined list. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to anything from classical to techno but favorite groups include One Republic and Matchbox 20.

Movies: Again I'm pretty open to all genres, but one all-time favorite is "Out of Africa."

Books: Surprise, surprise I like a variety, but a definite favorite was "The Poisonwood Bible."

I have a number of friends who are active couchsurfers and I'm looking forward to joining the mix! I'm very friendly, clean & respectful, and I very much enjoy meeting new people and learning about their lives. :-)
