About Me
I'm a 33-year old American currently teaching in Cheonan, South Korea.
I love reading, writing creatively, cooking, going for a good run, meeting awesome new people, getting out into nature at every opportunity, attempting yoga, and traveling of course.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great network for meeting people who can offer travel advice. And it seems like a great way to make new friends! I was first introduced to the couchsurfing group in Odense, Denmark and really loved hanging out with that bunch. It has a special place in my heart now.
Interests
I've started practicing a form of yoga called Ashtanga. I also run regularly on trails. I write occasionally and have even been known to read some of my poetry. I love learning new things and expanding my horizons however I can. I love most things sci fi and fantasy! I'm also a fan of good food and drink in the perfect company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I drove solo to New Orleans and was blown away by the beauty of the city and its people. I also managed to survive in Denmark for around 7 months before deciding it wasn't for me. Lots of breathtaking ocean everywhere! Plus all the delicious sweets....
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a couple phrases in Danish if you're interested...or tell you quite a bit about linguistic and early modern English history. I'm a pretty decent cook too (or so I've been told). I also know a few good jokes. I'm very open to new cultures and experiences and love meeting new people, so I'd be hoping to learn a thing or two too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer advice about my city and provide my company. I'm not really in a good enough spot to be able to offer any accommodation right now I'm afraid...
