ABOUT ME

I will always prefer to meet you than go sightseeing because the museum/palace/tower will always be there but you and I may never be in the same place again...at the same time. :)

Winning a lucky draw to visit Hong Kong during Xmas in 2005 changed my life. A 5 day trip stretched into 4 years, and then Dubai came knocking in 2011. A few years later I quit and went on the long way home, first through South America, Europe, Africa and then Asia. Back in home now and never been happier!

I host more than I surf. Unfortunately I won't be hosting until next year but missing it loads! Meanwhile, would love to share with you what I have re-loved about Singapore and exchange stories.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to keep repeating the same countries. I always end up liking my last destination best. That's why I need to go to as many countries as possible to find out which one is my real favourite :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had such a great first couchsurfing experience (the hosts were unbelievable) that I couldn't wait to return the favour...in fact, 2 minutes I returned to Dubai (where I'm based) and with only 3 hours of sleep behind me, I just had to pick up another first time couchsurfer from the airport! :) It turned out to be one of the best 3 weeks of my life.

I can help you with photography, Mandarin, Cantonese and I speak a little bit of Arabic and Farsi :) I also have a ukulele in my apartment that I fiddle with every now and then.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bake a mean cheesecake and brownie. Teach you the languages I know. And maybe teach you a song on the ukulele?
