About Me

Hi there,
last years CS gonna look more like a free hotel site.
People write me like they wanna make a room reservation, I don't think CS is made for that.
For me CS is a site where you meet people from different countries to have a good time together.
The free place to sleep is just a bonus.
I would like to host you, but I'm not a hotel.
So please sent me a mail about your trip, but don't forget to tell me why you would like to meet up.
And I'm sure we will have a nice meeting.

ABOUT ME

My name is Mandy, I'm 25 years old.
I live alone in a nice apartment.
I love animals, but I can't have pets because of my allergy.
So I'm a vegetarian, I love animals why should I kill them
I love music, being crazy with friends and trying new things.

Okay I gonna be honest with you, but I don't like to say everything om my profile.
But if you wanna know something feel free to ask, I don't care to talk about myself and I have no secrets for you (or almost not)
I have some physical restrictions,I have asthma and my lungs are pretty bad.
That makes me really tired all the time, so sometimes I need to rest a lot.
I have a wheelchair but I can walk a bit (even stairs) I only can't stand so long.
I usually walk, but when I'm going out I really need my wheelchair.
which means that when I walk to the store and back and in house I mostly don't need a wheelchair, but to concerts I need to sit.
After all I'm still a happy girl, and I like to have a lot of fun and do crazy things.
I think my sickness has a good part too, because I enjoy simple thinks more.
Like I said feel welcome to ask me what you want.

PHILOSOPHY

"I'm not afraid to die
I'm afraid to be alive, without being aware of it"
Epica - Sensorium

So live now

"Didn't think I could pull this through
I'm glad to see that I was wrong
Now I realize I had it in me
all along"
Amoral - Release

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love traveling, and especially meeting new people.
If I have time I would like to host

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best CS experience till now was 4 weeks in Finland.
I met many, many, many nice people.
Nice host, new friend and good talks with strangers on the street.
Beside of that I met myself, I think the Finnish fresh air was good for me.

For me it was like a dream come true.
Lots of thank to all the beautiful people I met in those weeks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
* Rock
especially the old ones

* Metal
I don't wanna hear a thing about slaying children or something like that.
Give me a good lyric and a sexy guitar, that is what makes me happy.

Movies:
* Horror
"how many are killed?" maybe not a normal demand of a cute girl ;)

* Thriller
The people how made that must be sick in there minds and ingenious at the same time.
But a good thriller gives you something to think about.

* Fantasy
For the easy days

* Real life drama
It's crazy what happens in the world.

*War
Okay it's a horror too of course, but this time in real live.
It interests me and I want to learn all about it.
From medieval till WWII and the war of today.

Books:
Sorry I don't read so much.
Like I said I love lyrics, so the books you get with a cd ? no not a real book but I read it ;)

And I read the Bible, and no I'm not a Christian.
It's more interest, and the stories are good to read.
And I'm open for any religion, so please tell me about yours.
For me is religion nothing more as a way to life, on a way you think it's good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think all my CS trips where great

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about you, and the way you live your life.

What can I teach you?
Maybe about vegetarian food or dutch food if you like to try (please tell me if you do)

If you wanna know something about the Netherlands your really welcome in Arnhem.
We have the Dutch open air museum about the history of the country, so we can go to it if you like.
And there is a lot of WWII thinks here in the area.
And I can teach you about the language.

Countries I’ve Visited
