Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed with a couple of really great people and I would definitely be ready for some interesting people to come stay with me, but I'm still getting settled, so it may be a while before my partner and I are ready to host.

I've couchsurfed in Brooklyn, Budapest, and Prague; I loved every host and appreciate that they shared their homes with me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Tim burton, Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind, Labyrinth, and so many more. Independent films and documentaries are always good, too.

Music: Folk, Indie, instrumental.

Books: I'm a librarian, I can't possibly choose one favorite book. Some of my favorite authors include Jeanette Winterson, bell hooks, Cheryl Strayed, Neil Gaiman, Miranda July, and many others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in some really beautiful and interesting places:

-Chicago, IL
-Reno, NV
-Portland, OR
-Upstate NY
-Washington, DC
-Atlanta, GA
-Flagstaff, AZ

I consider all of it amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

My actual job is teaching people how to research, but I also love teaching people about zines, indie media, how to book bind, etc.

If you can teach me something that you're passionate about, I'd love to hear about it!
