My name is Mandy Sloan. I am an artist through and through who loves to create, play guitar, write music, draw and write. I also have recently caught the travel bug and am heading out for Italy in the next week!
I graduated from the University of Central Florida after studying art, education and sociology and have been living in Austin, TX for the past three years. It's been an amazing experience, and I've had the opportunity to nanny some adorable kids, record two albums, date my best friend, play gigs, and meet some of the greatest people out there.

I just joined Couchsurfer because starting next week I'll be living in Italy for two months working as an au pair. So I am a baby to this whole couch surfing deal! I plan to explore the country as much as possible on my weekends, and hoping to stay and meet others along the way.
And hoping to host others in Austin when I come back!
