Chilean currently living in Bilbao. About a year ago, I moved here to begin a new chapter in my life, embracing fresh experiences and new opportunities.
I live in the center of Bilbao, and there are still many places in the city left for me to discover.
I really enjoy the climate here—rainy, green, and full of life. The abundance of nature is something I truly appreciate. I’m especially drawn to the Cantabrian coast.
I’d like to keep exploring Bilbao and discovering all the neighborhoods and hidden corners I haven’t seen yet. That’s why I really enjoy connecting with travelers who are just as curious and excited about the city. It’s always more fun to explore together, share perspectives, and keep discovering Bilbao along the way 😊.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love discovering new places and meeting people from different cultures, ways of life, and cuisines. For me, traveling is also about meaningful conversations and cultural exchange.
In Chile, my experience with Couchsurfing was mainly as a host. I enjoyed welcoming travelers into my home and sharing experiences with them. Now that I’m living in Spain, I would love to have the opportunity to be the traveler this time — to visit new places, meet locals, and hopefully find hosts who are as friendly, fun, and welcoming as I tried to be with the travelers I hosted in Chile.
It also feels like a wonderful way to discover more of Spain. 🌍✨

Estoy en Couchsurfing porque me gusta descubrir nuevos lugares y conocer personas de distintas culturas, formas de vida y también nuevas comidas. Para mí viajar también tiene que ver con las conversaciones, el intercambio cultural y las historias que se comparten en el camino.
En Chile mi experiencia con Couchsurfing fue principalmente como anfitriona. Disfruté mucho recibir viajeros en mi casa y compartir momentos y experiencias con ellos.

Some of my interests revolve around self-discovery and astrology. I’m also really passionate about sustainability, especially projects related to ecological agriculture, renewable energy, regenerative farming, rural socio-environmental initiatives, as well as renaturalization and rewilding 🌱

I enjoy chill sounds like bossa nova, Pomplamoose, Coldplay, and Sting, but my taste is quite eclectic — sometimes I’m also dancing salsa 😉. I also love Spanish-speaking artists like Fito Páez and Gustavo Cerati.
I enjoy investigation and police series, good comedy movies, and documentaries about chefs traveling around the world and discovering new cultures through food.
When it comes to books, I’m interested in self-knowledge, astrology, and of course cookbooks — I love learning about food from different places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One big adventure in my life was moving to Spain and starting a new chapter here. In Chile, I trekked two volcanoes in the south 🏔 and even took a diving course despite being afraid of the ocean 🌊. For me, the best experiences are often the ones that push you a little outside your comfort zone.
