- Just travelling, most recently a 10-day adventure in Iceland followed by a 16-day Solar Eclipse trip in the US 🌌

- Watching films, including 45 at Cannes during a 12-day festival stint 🎬

My journey on Couchsurfing started with a friend’s recommendation, and I’m excited to dive into this vibrant community! Now, I’m looking forward to meeting new friends locally in London.

When it’s my turn to host, I love making sure everything is perfect for my guests! From fresh sheets 🛏️, smooth Wi-Fi 📶, to personalized local tours 🗺️, I’ve got it all covered!

As a guest, I'm mindful of my host's space and ensure I leave it just as clean as I found it 🧽. While I'm more suited for DJ-ing than cooking at parties, my wide music taste always hits the right note 🎵.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Obsessed with the album AAA by Korean Rock band HYUKOH & Taiwanese alt band Sunset Rollercoaster atm. I also like Chinese songs (A-mei, Faye Wang) and K-pop (aespa, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, IU), English bands (Bleachers, Circa Waves, Black Country New Road) and Andrew Bird, James Blake etc.
Movies: just from this past Oscar season Monster and The Zone of Interest was really good, also liked All of Us Strangers, Anatomy of a Fall, Poor Things etc.
Books: reading some classical books about photography by Susan Sontag and John Berger atm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my recent trip to the US, we had a mutiny against our original tour guide, and I reluctantly stepped up as the new leader for the remaining 13 days. Our group of six, all with different backgrounds from China, decided to ditch the original route and create our own adventure. Despite being tired, I handled everything – booking new hotels, driving safely, translating, and accommodating everyone's requests. Thanks to my organizational and communication skills, I managed to keep everyone happy and satisfied. It was a wild and exhausting experience, but I'm proud of what I accomplished! 🌟🗺️🚗

What I Can Share with Hosts

One of my joys is photography, and I'm more than happy to share some helpful tips on how to improve photo composition, play with light and shadow, and identify picture-perfect moments around you. Maybe we could even go on a joint mini photography adventure!

When it comes to organisation and cleanliness, I have a few hacks up my sleeve. I could share advice on how to make your workspace more efficient or provide tips on keeping your living area neat and tidy. It's something that I've refined over time, and I'd love to pass along that knowledge.
