Hey surfers,
my name is Daniel and currently I am taking my master classes at RWTH Aachen, Germany.
During my trips I prefer getting hints from locals which are not in current guides about great places to visit, nice pubs or about the best coffee in town. I also like to explore international dishes to improve my cooking skills. I am a very sociable guy and I am not shy to get to know new people from all over the world.
Furthermore, I also like to be a guide and a chef for my guests in case they are interested. If you are into good music, feel free to show me. I am curious to know.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I once decided to learn surfing in south Portugal and beforehand a close friend told me about a special kind of fish, called Weever, with small venomous spines on their first dorsal fins and gills, which bury themselves in sand. But he also told me that it's very unlikely to step on one, particularly because he stepped on one just once in more than 7 years of quite regularly surfing.

Well, it was the first day of my surfing career and after some time I felt a little sting under my foot. Guess what, I found one! My foot got swollen and the pain intensified very quickly and after all my surf instructor told me to pee on it. This seemed strange to me, but I did what he said. And yeah, it really worked! After less than 30 minutes I was on the board again.

At the end of the day I was absolutely happy because this experience showed me that no matter how nature tries to stop you from fulfilling your dreams the solution to all challenges and troubles is in you, no matter how literally you take it ;-)
