I am currently a student at IIM Ahmedabad pursuing my management degree. I love to travel and have been to quite a lot of places around India, especially in South India. I am friendly, fun and very sporty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am going to Belgium for three months as an exchange student this September. This will be my first time in Europe. I am travelling alone and want to get to know Europe through its people. I want to make at least one local friend wherever I go. So while going through recommendations through blogs I came across couch surfing as the best way to get to know the locals. I also want to learn about what music people to listen to wherever I go. I am new to this community and would absolutely love to get to know people and even host once I am back in India.

Interests

Horse riding, swimming, sports ( basketball, volleyball, badminton, throw ball ), - basically I like to remain outdoors :) I am die hard Anime and manga fan and would absolutely love an opportunity to experience Japanese culture first hand.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are a lot of genres of movies I like- fantasy,adventure, rom-coms. I avoid horror movies. Some of my favourite movies are Pianist, Pursuit of Happyness, 127 Hours, Lost in Translation, The Perfume, P.S. I Love You, If Only,Dilwale Dhulania Le Jayenge(Hindi), Border(Hindi), Dhrishyam( Hindi ), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara ( Hindi ), almost all DC comics ( Dark Knight, Iron Man, Spiderman ), Sci-fi movies ( Back to the Future, Time Machine ), Thrillers I absolutely love <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think all the adventure activities like hiking, white river rafting, camping, horse-riding are the things that I remember till date. For me these all were just amazing experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Apart from knowing about India I am an excellent cook when it comes to traditional Indian food. I am taking a whole bunch of Indian home-made spices and would be happy to serve our hosts with some traditional Indian dishes.
