About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to figure out this balance thing..
ABOUT ME
I like getting to know different cultures and perspectives through food, people, music, books and conversations. I love traveling but I'm also really particular about cleanliness and organization and sometimes the two don't go hand-in-hand.
PHILOSOPHY
We are capable of discerning far more than we are capable of articulating- Jony Ive
We aren't truly listening unless we are willing to be changed by what we are hearing. (Thanks Barbara!)
Do more of what makes you happy.
What bothers us in others is an opportunity to learn something about ourself.
"Do not fear" is bullshit.. Embrace it.. Immerse yourself in it.. Understand it.. Why are you feeling that way.. What dont you like.. What can you do about it.. What if you dont do anything about it?
Everyone is doing the best they know how to do so there is no point getting hung up on what someone did or didn't do.
Forgive others and yourself.. every mistake and difficulty is a learning opportunity..
Spend time getting to know yourself, understanding yourself, loving yourself.. And you'll end up doing all this with the rest of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love watching food, travel, history and biography related tv shows, documentaries and movies.
I like almost all kinds of music but depending on what I'm doing, I am somewhat partial to electronic, alternative and smooth jazz.
I like reading a good story- it could be fiction or non-fiction, romantic or mystery. The genre doesn't matter much.
Violent and dark stuff doesn't do it for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kayaking at night in pouring rain in the bioluminescent Mosquito Bay in Vieques, Puerto Rico. I am a wimp when it comes to big water bodies, especially in the dark. This is one of the scariest and most beautiful things I have experienced yet and cannot recommend it enough.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook and would be happy to share recipes and pointers that I've picked up along the way.
Countries I’ve Lived In
India, United States
