Hello Couchsurfing community,

I am Mannes, a student in Amsterdam. I'm going to go on exchange to the University of Minnesota next semester, before which I'll go on vacation in California and Oregon with my girlfriend, Anne, who is going on exchange to Quest University, British Columbia. We will be working on organic farms through the WWOOF programme for the majority of the time, but we'd like to surf some couches in San Francisco and Portland as well.

I've been to San Francisco before, but really only saw the main streets. I'd love to visit it again with some more inside information. Portland has been on my to-visit list for a long time, as well. In return, you'll get to experience your own city through the hyper-excited eyes of a tourist!

Anne and I are (self-proclaimed) cooking pro's. We run a small hummus black market in our university dorms. Word has it, it's the shit.
Also, if you have a dog, I will love it to within an inch of its life.
