About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I aim to build bridges of community across the world by providing a place of rest to the weary traveler, the adventurous college student, well, anyone really. I'm sure we'll learn something about one another during your stay.
ABOUT ME
I have lived in Coeur d Alene for 27 years. I lived in Germany for almost four years in the late 80s and early 90s and loved it. I've been a single mom, raised three kids, who are now on their own. 25 (Navy, US) 26 (Navy, Japan) and 32 (Veterinarian, married.) While I love the area, North Idaho hasn't always been very diverse. I've tried to teach my children to be more globally aware in any way I can. Providing a couch to the world these past 14 years has helped to do that. I try to share thoughts and learn from those around me with the goal of opening minds in my community, one person at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I gladly host people from any corner of our globe. All are welcome and encouraged to share their knowledge, hobbies, travels and lifestyles. We welcome the opportunity to learn from others. Now that my children are grown and gone, it is time for me to try to surf, instead of host, for a change!
