I would like to get to know the places I visit through the eyes of the locals. Do what they do, visit the places that they visit, hang out the way they hang out. This has always been my preferred way of exploring new places. Sometimes, I like to play a tourist because let's face it...a lot of our "Bucket list" items are the ones that are the most touristy. Regardless, there is nothing better than living like the locals to when it comes to exploring. This is also the best way to submerge yourself into the culture, experience it the most, and enrich yourself. Also...PEOPLE ARE MY JAM.

I consider myself a cinephile. I LOVE the art of cinema and television. Besides travelling, I can honestly say that this would be my other big passion in life. I watch pretty much everything when it comes to movies. TV shows I love, as well though I have been having a rather difficult time as of late to catch up with the sheer volume of new and still going TV shows. So much is put out nowadays. However, I am trying to stay up-to-date with all things relevant.
- All-time favorite shows: Friends, Farscape
- All-time favorite movies: where do I start...all things Tarantino, Nolan, Scorsese, DiCaprio, LOTR, Marvel, Requiem for a Dream, animation: WALLE-E, Toy Story trilogy, How to train your Dragon, Spirited Away etc., fan of horrors, sci-fi, dramas, comedy...simply too much to mention!

I listen to all kinds of music, should the mood and company call for it. Personally, I enjoy techno/house/electronic the most but can have an equal blast listening to reggae, dance, pop, disco, retro, Latin music and so on.

Swim with Manta Rays off the coast of Nusa Penida.
Surf down the slopes of an active volcano in Nicaragua.
