About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I live in the Deep South, the home of perpetual racism, homophobia and a disappearing middle class. I have to get out, often. I try and travel internationally once or twice a year. I usually stay at Hostels or with people I know, love meeting newpeople
ABOUT ME
I have a new job, working from home in Atlanta, USA for a company in Nijmegen, NL. I do creepy interactive marketing that tracks your ever move and intelligently pairs your next message up with your behavior. Creepy. :)
In my spare time I volunteer at an elementary school. I go every week and teach the kids in the school how to run an organic garden on the school's grounds. We have an awesome program that's really affecting the lives of the kids, so much so that Michelle Obama came in 02/11 to see our program!
I am a pretty laid back. My partner Nathan and I own a house in a "transitioning" neighborhood. Unfortunately we are pretty far from public transportation, so it isn't a good place for surfers to stay. We don't have much right around our house except for other houses, so I prefer to hang out at our local watering holes in East Atlanta Village.
PHILOSOPHY
Life's too short to spend your life filling out endless surveys and posting them to facebook.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted, I've done a bunch of Atlanta CS meetups. But for the most part I use CS to meet locals when I travel to ensure the best trip.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly I couch surf friends, esp when I travel to Boston or New York. I stayed with Mike in new york for a week and a half, he gave me a key, and I came and went as i pleased depending on the schedules I had for the conference I was attending. That was my best couching experience
