I am a history teacher in a small town in the south of Belgium.
I never had the opportunity to use couchsurfing. I have rarely gone on a trip alone, but I enjoy doing it sometimes.
My goal this summer is to take my first bikepacking trip. Symbolically, I would like to see my best friend for this first bike trip. More than 20 years of friendship we met on the school benches and we never left each other. After college, he moved to Barcelona. This summer I will take some of my time in July to join him.

I love sport, I played football for a long time, growing up I hated the mentality that goes with this sport. I would like to try the triathlon, but it's still quite, maybe too demanding for me. For the moment, I'm doing the bike at full speed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couch surfinrg because I like the spirit of the concept! I like to meet new cultures and see other things.

I haven't had the opportunity to host people yet. I left couchsurfing when it became ultra paying. Besides, I didn't do the verified profile because I think that with facebook, the e-mail address is already not bad.

Music, Movies, and Books

I know the answer may sound easy, but I'm very eclectic in music. I can love "Les Cowboys Fringants" as much as "Les Red Hot Chili Peppers" by Orelsan.

For the movies it is perhaps less varied. I appreciate "L'auberge espagnole", all Christopher Nolan's movies, I love classic "Fight club", "Pulp fiction", "Interstellar", "Seven", "Into the Wild", "The Shawshank Redemption", "Drive" etc.
I also have special tastes, I love Jim Carrey, I'm a fan of "Oss 117" (the first & two) and I am a big fan in "La Flamme". In short, I find that humor is still underrated in our world.
